An ale yeast from Danstar (Lallemand). This strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae has been isolated and selected from commercial fermentations in the United Kingdom.

Gives a slightly esthetic and fairly neutral fermentation character, which allows malt and hops to play the first violin. Produces fairly stocky beer when fermented down 12 ° C, but then the yeast yield should be adjusted upwards.
